A unique feature of all Peterson Portable Sawmills, is the ease of double cutting by a single operator.
A double cut is the joining of two horizontal cuts together to obtain a wider board using both sides of the blade. With the Peterson range, there is no need to turn the mill to achieve the double cut as you will see in our videos.
Please note: the process has been slowed down for this educational video clip. The model being operated during this footage is our Automated Swingblade Mill (ASM), but the double cutting feature is standard with all Peterson mills.
